Today, I would describe myself as a healthy human and happy spirit with a quirky persona and a positive attitude.
If you met me a decade ago, I would describe myself as an unhealthy human and an unhappy spirit with a quirky persona and a cynical attitude. For real… I was Judgy McJudgerson!
So how'd I get from point A to point B?
It all started with someone talking a broke college student into spending her lunch money on yoga. That poor college student was me. I was reluctant to go and hated it when I was there. I hated all of the pretty skinny girls that could do the poses. I hated my soft and frumpy self. I hated being left alone with my thoughts. I hated someone telling me to, “Just breath.”
Looking back, what I really hated was the fact that Yoga forced me to get uncomfortable by physically making me be in my body and mentally making me take an honest look at myself.
I didn’t realize it then, but the discomfort I experienced during that yoga class was the catalyst for my transformation. It was the catalyst for helping me discover how to heal myself and assist others in healing themselves.
Over the last 13 years, I have done an enormous amount of work on myself and have immersed myself in studying a number of healing modalities with highly regarded teachers. These modalities include: Yoga, Ayurveda, Shamanism, REBT (Rational Emotional Behavioral Therapy), and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). I even opened a yoga studio and started an online platform designed around the ancient healing wisdom of Ayurveda so that everyone and anyone can have the tools they need to take their health and happiness into their own hands and most importantly LIVE WITH MORE PURPOSE!
I know that life can be tough. I know that we all have experiences that shape who we are and the things we believe to be true about ourselves and others. I know that shifting our perspective is no easy task. I also know that we all have the power and ability to grow and evolve as human and spiritual beings. We were designed to live out our dharma, our best lives, but we have to be awake and open to that invitation to our “very first yoga class” in order to view things from a new perspective.
My spirit loves colors and patterns. You'll often see my body decorated that way.
I’ve been told that I read people’s minds. While this might seem a bit invasive, I find my clients enjoy me pulling out the truth and helping them articulate what’s going on in their head.
I am a former elementary school teacher. My kiddo's also thought I was psychic because I always new when they were picking their nose or up to trouble without even looking.
I am a fixer. I like finding creative ways for my clients to feel good and be happy. Ways that work for them and their unique selves.
I love coffee, cookies, and dogs.
I have a hard time shutting doors, cabinets, and drawers fully.
In a nutshell, I am a Purposeful Living Coach who uses mindset, intuitive healing, and the ancient healing modality of Ayurveda, to help exhausted women heal from past trauma and imprinted belief systems so that they can live a healthy, passionate, and purposeful life.
Bringing inspiration, innovation, intuition, and practical tactics for achieving optimal health and happiness to those who are ready to stop struggling and start living their best life.
Growth: Self-improvement and growth is something that I am always working on as I have experienced first hand the amazing results it can provide. I look for the same openness and dedication in the people I work with so that they can continue to level up to the next best version of themselves.
Respect: Each of us is on our own timeline and you’re right where you need to be. I respect you as a person no matter where you are on your wellness journey, and I value my role in helping you get to the next level.
Honesty: In order for me to best guide you along your wellness journey, I need to be honest with you and you need to be honest with you. Sometimes you're not going to like the truth, whether it comes from me or you, but ultimately the truth will set you free.
To lead by example, educate, and empower my clients to step into their higher self through the wisdom of Ayurveda and intuitive healing.
