Top 3 Foods the Pitta Dosha Should Avoid

Good nutrition goes beyond the food that we eat, it takes into consideration the manner in which we are eating as well, the state that the food is in, and how our body digests that food.

Without over complicating this approach to your diet, always remember that it starts with being mindful and present so that you can cultivate the awareness required to observe how your mind and body are responding to everything you experience. If you are in a balanced state and your digestion is functioning optimally, these foods should be no problem, in moderation.

Check out the video to learn the top 3 foods, I see people commonly gravitate toward when they are “trying to eat healthily” but can do more harm than good if they are Pitta dominant or Pitta imbalanced.

How to Take Inspired Action

Inspired actions are those actions we take that do not necessarily feel like work. They're work, but there is excitement behind it.

Inspired actions are cultivated when we give our soul room to speak and in this video, I'm going to discuss 3 different ways in which you can tap into those inspired actions so that you can live with more flow and a greater sense of ease.

1. Take the time to self-reflect.

2. Anytime you use the restroom, don't bring your phone.

3. Turn the logical part of your brain off through a variety of activities.

Applied Faith & the Power of Failure

Let’s get clear on how important failure is in our lives and how it ultimately leads to our success, as long as we don’t allow it to take us down and hold us down.

  • How do we hang on when things get bumpy or challenging?
  • How do we get back up when we feel like we've lost it all?
  • How do we even start when we are fearful of a potential outcome (the one we don't want)?

I'll tell you right now, this isn't a one size fits all formula, but there is one overarching piece of wisdom we can all tap into and that is applied faith.

We have to have faith that our failures will ultimately lead us to success. They will give us the lessons we need to determine if this is what we really want or if we need to reroute or modify in any way.

In this video, we'll explore the power of failure and how we can overcome it with applied faith.
